In commemoration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the Princely Government underscores the pivotal role played by the Occupational Medicine Office (OMT) in ensuring the well-being of employees in the Principality’s private sector, as well as civil servants, state agents, and municipal workers. The OMT, entrusted with the responsibility of medical surveillance in the workplace, boasts a multidisciplinary team comprising 17 occupational physicians, medical assistants, nurses, occupational health nurses, and prevention specialists. Throughout the year 2023, this team conducted over 28,000 medical visits along with nursing interviews, and undertook on-site assessments at various companies and construction sites to evaluate occupational hazards, offer preventive measures, and dispense safety advice. By diligently fulfilling its mandate, the OMT actively fosters a culture of health within enterprises and endeavors to ensure secure and salubrious working environments for all workers. Furthermore, the Occupational Medicine Office provides informative materials aimed at raising awareness about occupational risks.
